WhatsApp groups
List the WhatsApp groups your numbers belong to and pass the messages of selected groups into Conversations.

Health tourism clinics run part of their daily work in WhatsApp groups: transfer drivers, partner hotels, doctors, interpreters. WADOG lists the groups your connected numbers belong to; messages from the groups you switch on appear in the panel as a separate conversation. This page is managed by account admins.
List groups and switch on syncing
- In the WADOG left menu, open WA Grupları (WA Groups).
- Choose a number at the top right (or leave Tüm numaralar — All numbers) and click Grupları yenile (Refresh groups). The groups the number belongs to are listed with their member counts.
- Turn on the switch in the row of the group you want to see in the panel. When the first message arrives, a contact is created for the group and the row shows a CRM'de kişi oluşturuldu (Contact created in CRM) badge.
Groups are shown on separate cards per number. If the list is long, search by group name with the Grup ara… (Search groups) box. The counter at the top shows how many groups are being synced to the panel.
Note
The number must be Bağlı (Connected) for groups to be listed. If you've added your number to a new group, click Grupları yenile again.
How group messages appear in the panel
Every message written in a synced group lands in Conversations in the chat of a contact called "[WA Grup] Group name". The sender's name is shown in bold at the start of the message:
- The whatsapp-group tag is added to the group contact; use it to filter group chats or keep them out of your patient lists.
- Only text is passed on from groups; photos and files sent to the group don't come through — just a description line such as "📷 Görsel" (image).
- New messages in a group you switch off no longer reach the panel; messages already passed on stay in the chat.
Example: in the "Aura – Transfer & Otel" group, transfer manager Murat writes that Jonas Weber's flight lands at 14:20. The message appears in the group chat in the panel; the patient coordinator adds it as a note on the patient's record and plans the operation day around it.
Replying and sending to a group
You can't reply to a group chat from Conversations: the group contact has no phone number and a message sent from the panel won't reach the group. To write to the group, use WhatsApp on the phone.
If you'd like messages sent to a group automatically on certain events (e.g. a notice to the transfer group when a new appointment is booked), or a process started from group messages, our team can configure this during setup. Message our support team on WhatsApp.
Good practice
- Switch on only the groups you need for work. Passing patient groups or busy chats into the panel fills Conversations for no reason.
- If patients' personal health information is shared in a group, make sure the messages passed into the panel comply with your clinic's data protection rules. See Data privacy.
- Keep group names clear; the group name is used as the contact name in the panel.
Common issues
"Grup bulunamadı" (No groups found) warning. The number isn't connected or isn't a member of any group. Check the number's status on the Numaralar (Numbers) page.
I switched it on but no chat appeared. The group contact is created by the first message written in the group after you switch it on. Wait for a message in the group.
I can't change the switch. Only account admins can switch groups on or off.
