Domains and redirects
Connect your clinic's domain so booking and campaign pages open on your own web address.
2 min read
The Domains & URL Redirects page lets pages published on MedicalGrow open on your clinic's own address. For example, the booking link you send a patient can open on a familiar address such as book.auradental.com instead of a long panel URL. That matters especially for patients abroad, who need to trust a link before they click it.
Before you start
- You need the Admin role.
- You need access to your domain's DNS settings.
- Connect a subdomain (e.g.
book.,go.,appointments.), not your main website (auradental.com), so your existing site isn't affected.
Note
Website and funnel building tools aren't included in your plan. If the MedicalGrow team builds your campaign pages, we usually connect the domain together with you. If you need help, message our support team on WhatsApp.
Connecting a domain
- Open Settings → Domains & URL Redirects.
- Click + Add Domain in the top-right corner and enter the subdomain you want to connect (e.g.
go.auradental.com). - Add the DNS record shown in the panel (usually a CNAME or A record) at your DNS provider, then click the verify button in the panel. Once verified, the domain shows as Connected and an SSL certificate is issued automatically.
Tip
The SSL certificate can take a few minutes to issue, and the page may show a "not secure" warning in the meantime. Test the address in your own browser before sending links to patients.
URL redirects
The URL Redirects tab lets you send an old address to a new one. For example, when a campaign ends you can redirect go.auradental.com/summer-offer to your general consultation page, so you don't lose patients arriving from old ads or shared links.
When adding a redirect:
- Enter the source (old path) and the destination (new page) exactly.
- Use a permanent (301) redirect for permanent moves.
- Test the old link after saving.
Typical use in medical tourism
| Subdomain | Use |
|---|---|
book.auradental.com | Online consultation and booking pages (Booking link) |
go.auradental.com | Landing pages for ad campaigns |
mg.auradental.com | Email sending (Email services) |
Heads up
Don't use the same subdomain for both web pages and email sending. Create a separate subdomain for each purpose.
Common issues
Verification fails. Make sure the Host field contains only the subdomain (go) and that no old or conflicting record remains. If you use Cloudflare, turn off the proxy (orange cloud) on that record.
The page opens but shows an SSL warning. Wait for the certificate to be issued; if it isn't fixed within a few hours, message our support team.
