Booking link
Share your calendar's booking link, embed it on your website and send it to patients in WhatsApp conversations.
2 min read
Every calendar has a booking page where patients can pick a time on their own. Use the link on WhatsApp, in your Instagram bio, in emails and on your website, and say goodbye to "Which day suits you?" back-and-forth.
Copy and embed the link
In the Settings → Calendars list, open the share option from the ⋯ menu on the calendar's row. Then:
- Click Copy next to Booking link. You can share this link directly with patients.
- To add the calendar to your website, copy the code under Embed code and paste it into the relevant page (your web developer can help). The calendar appears inside the page like a form.
Tip
Have your own domain at the start of the link, like book.auradental.com/.... For custom domain setup, see Domains.
Using it on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is where most appointment conversations happen in medical tourism. There are two ways to use the link:
- In the conversation: when a patient asks "can I talk to a doctor?", send the booking link with a short note. The patient taps the link, picks a time in their own time zone, and the appointment lands straight in your calendar.
- With saved replies: save the link in a snippet so coordinators can send it in one click. See Templates and snippets.
Important
Outside the 24-hour customer service window you can't send free-form messages to a patient. If the window is closed, use a Meta-approved template that contains the link. See WhatsApp templates.
Where to use the link
| Place | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp greeting message | "Book a free video call: [link]" |
| Instagram bio / stories | The calendar link for that language |
| Thank-you page after an ad | An embedded calendar |
| Treatment plan email | "Pick a time to discuss your plan with the doctor" |
| Email signature | The coordinator's own calendar |
The right link for the right patient
If you have several calendars by language or treatment, keep a short table so links don't get mixed up. Sending the English team's link to a German-speaking patient means the booking lands with the wrong coordinator. See Team calendars.
Troubleshooting
The link opens but there are no free times. Check your availability settings. See Availability settings.
The embedded calendar looks cut off on the website. The area where you pasted the code may not be wide or tall enough; place the code in a full-width section.
A patient booked but a duplicate contact was created. The patient may have used a different phone number or email on the form. See Duplicates and merging.
