Date ranges and filters
Use the date range, quick filters and date property to see Dashboard figures for the right period and the right team.

The same widget can show very different figures depending on the date range and filters you choose. Getting the right answer to "How many treatments did we sell this month?" comes down to picking the right date range and the right date property. This article covers the time and filter settings on the Dashboard.
Changing the date range
- Click the date field in the top right of the Dashboard.
- Pick a preset range from the list on the left (Today, Last 7 Days, This Month, Last Month, etc.) or click start and end days on the calendar to set a custom range.
- Click Apply. Every widget on the dashboard refreshes for the selected range.
Preset names may vary slightly in the interface; the logic is the same.
Tip
Compare ranges of equal length. Comparing "This month" (on the 10th) with "Last month" (30 days) is misleading; compare "Last 7 Days" with the previous 7 days instead.
Quick filters and the date property
- Click the Quick Filters button above the dashboard.
- Add filters; they appear as pills. E.g. Assigned User: Mehmet Demir, Source: Facebook Ads. Click the arrow on a pill to change that filter.
- Click Clear to remove all filters.
- On some widgets (especially opportunity widgets) you can choose which date property they count by: Created On, Status Change or Updated On.
Quick filters don't change the dashboard permanently; they only narrow your current view. For a permanent filter, use the widget's own Conditions setting: Customising widgets.
Why the date property matters
Jonas Weber from Germany filled in a form on 25 September, paid a deposit on 8 October and his opportunity was marked "Won". In an "Opportunities won in October" widget, Jonas:
| Date property | Shows in the October range? | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Created On | No (the opportunity was created in September) | To measure how many new opportunities were opened in the period. |
| Status Change | Yes (it was won in October) | To measure how many sales were made in the period. |
| Updated On | Yes (it was updated in October) | To see opportunities worked on during the period. |
Important
For "How many treatments did we sell this month?", use Status Change. With Created On, patients who enquired last month and bought this month are missing from the figure, and sales are under-reported.
Time zone
Figures are calculated in the dashboard's time zone. If your clinic is in Istanbul and the dashboard uses a different time zone, leads arriving close to midnight may be counted on the previous or next day. Check the dashboard's time zone with Manage dashboard timezone in the action menu. See Custom dashboards.
Example scenarios
- Weekly team meeting: Date range Last 7 Days; use Quick Filters to pick each Assigned User in turn and show every coordinator's figures.
- Campaign review: Set the campaign's start and end dates as a custom range and use the Source filter to show only that source.
- Month-end sales report: Last Month + Status Change on opportunity widgets.
Common issues
The Dashboard and Reporting show different figures. The date range, date property or time zone may differ between the two screens. Make all three the same and compare again.
I removed the filter but the figure didn't change. The widget may have a permanent filter in its own Conditions setting. Open the widget in edit mode and check.
